Peat features heavily in our distilling history - records show that The Glenturret dug peat from the moss at our water source for whisky production in the early 1800s. Today we produce a small amount of peated spirit alongside our non-peated spirit from the same small stills. The Glenturret 10
Years Old Peat Smoked brings together the two-spirit styles of the distillery, matured in both first fill and second fill European and American oak casks. The resulting complex whisky commands a higher strength of 50% ABV.
