Release of the 2022 Core Collection

Release of the 2022 Core Collection

We are delighted to announce the arrival of our new 2022 Release, including seven new expressions elegantly crafted by our celebrated Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno.

Our annual release showcases the distillery’s distinctive fruity spirit style amidst the ever-evolving canvas of our maturing wood characters and includes five signature whiskies, with an exciting new addition of a 7 Years Old Peat Smoked, and two genuinely scarce single malts, a 25 Years Old and 30 Years Old, that personify the 259-year heritage of the distillery.

The collection has been crafted by our award-winning Whisky Maker, Bob Dalgarno, and follows the much-acclaimed 2020 maiden release and 2021 range, which have received numerous awards since being introduced in July 2020.

The first five whiskies in the 2022 Release are made up of Triple Wood, the 7 Years Old Peat Smoked, which makes its debut this year, 10 Years Old Peat Smoked, 12 Years Old and a 15 Years Old.

"Continually building on the relationship between our whisky drinkers and The Glenturret, the 2022 Release introduces more American oak influence this year and our new 7 Years Old Peat Smoked."

Bob Dalgarno, The Glenturret Whisky Maker

"For centuries, The Glenturret have been producing some of the finest, small-batch single malts by hand. We are so proud to have built a team who are true experts in the traditional production techniques we employ, and who share our values of passion, prowess and provenance. It means that each year we release a new collection, we can build on the year before and release single malts that are even more special than the previous year. We hope our customers will enjoy the new 2022 Release as much as we do, especially now that we have added a new expression."

John Laurie, The Glenturret Managing Director
